I have never been to Africa. I would like to go some day, but I have been saying that for 15 years and just have not found the right this and that to get there. However, I have many friends who have been to Africa, have lived in Africa, have had their hearts both broken and mended in Africa.

These friends of mine have seen with their own eyes the death that poverty inserts into the lives of it victims. Their heart yearns to crush poverty – poverty in every sense fo the word. Economic, emotional, educational, and spiritual poverty all need to go.

Well, these friends don’t live in Africa anymore, but their passions are no less strong. What many of them are involved in right now is an creative mission/business/educational effort that is aimed at extinsguishing poverty in Africa.

This effort is called the Kibo Group. Check out their website and see what they are all about. Who knows, you might just get taken by their passion and join in on their mission. You might even make it your mission.
